Show MORONI HIGH SCHOOL CLOSING EXERCISES The Commencement Exercises Exercis-es for the Moroni High School were given at the auditorium Friday evening, May 2Sth. There were nineteen students in the pioneer graduating class who received their diplomas. The class roll is as follows: Leander Olsen, Leland Frandson, Ellis Draper, Moroni Faux, Sarah Dye, Eugene Faux, Ray Anderson. Helena Christensen, Grover Chrisjteu-seu, Chrisjteu-seu, John Hardy, Annetta Sorenson, Ophelia Monson, Leo Morlcy, Irene Edmunds, Susie Blackham, Melba Christensen, Glenn Hanson, Ethel Olsen and Rees M. Rees. The. Commencement Program was given as follows: Music: High School Orchestra. Invocation: Bishop Orlando Bradley. Brad-ley. Welcome Address: Leandor Olsen. Piano Solo: "Mazurka Caprice," Glenn Hanson. Oration: "What Brings Fame," FJ-liB FJ-liB Draper. Vocal Solo: "A Night Song," Mol-ba Mol-ba Christensen. Oration: "Our Country's Tomorrow," Tomor-row," Leland Franrisen. Valedictory: Susie Blackburn. Commencement Address: Dr. F. J. Pack. Presentation of Diplomas: Pres. C. N. Lund. Music: High School Orchestra. Benediction: Jabez Faux. .lr. The large crowd present at the crereises enjoyed the program very much. Every part was well .even and Dr. Pack delivered a very e:.ci-lent e:.ci-lent Commencement address. I!'5 v.-as exceptionally well pleased with the showing made by the Moroni Huh School and he made very favorable comment concerning the graduates and the school in general. |
