Show Operetta 'Sylvia' Pleases A Very Large Audience The operetta "Sylvia." which was presented last evening by the Musical department of the Wasatch academy in the Elite theatre went off very-well. very-well. An exceptionally good audience 'onsidering the weather conditions was present and very much enjoyed the students efforts. This entertainment entertain-ment was the fifth and concluding number of the school's Lyceum course of this year, each number of which has met with much approval. The operetta consisted of solos, duets, trios, quartets and chorus work. The music is popular and tuneful. Elaborate costumes and', other effects were used, making it In all a delightful entertainment. Willmetta Wright as "Lady Sylvia" and Pearl Tozer as "Betty" did especially es-pecially good work. The moral of the little play is to be satisfied with your own station in life no matter how- humble. |
