Show MORONI Supt. Ray Stewart of Nephi was a Moroni visitor on Saturday. James Larsen and Alma Blackham were Milburn visitors on Sunday. William Taylor returned from Manti on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bradley were Salt Lake visitors on Saturday. Mayor D. O. Larsen was at Nephi on Thursday and Friday. The S. O. D. H. club entertained at a dinner at the Moroni house on Friday evening. Pres. J. W. Anderson and A. V. Mcintosh of Mt. Pleasant were visitors visit-ors at Moroni on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Will C'hristensen of Fairview were guests of Bishop and Mrs. Orlando Bradley the latter part of the wek. Wendell Li.rsen gave a birthdny party Monday evening to a number of his schoolmates. Games were played and refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Chris C'hristensen returned re-turned from Salt Lake a few- days ago where they went to attend the funeral of Mr. Christensen's sister. Miss Mildred Irons entertained at a birthday party on Monday evening. A number of her girl friends enjoyed the party. The hostess served refreshments. re-freshments. The Moroni Commercial club gave a ball on Friday evening. A large crowd was present and each guest was given a green carnation in honor of St. Patrick's day. Refreshments were served. On Thursday evening a number of relatives and friends surprised Mr. and Mrs. Jabez Faux. Sr., in honor of Mr. Faux's seventy-ninth birthday. Miss Edna Hardy, Miss Ophelia Mon-son, Mon-son, Ferry Faux and Aaron Hardy-gave Hardy-gave musical selections. Poems and talks in honor of the aged couple were given by Mrs. Ephraim Anderson, Ander-son, Mrs. Daniel Anderson and Bishop Orlando Bradley. An old time dance was given by Mr. Faux and Mrs. Ephraim Anderson. Refreshments were served and a very enjoyable evening was spent. On Tuesday evening at the Kozy theatre the Mutual Improvement Association As-sociation presented a one act comedy, "The Man from Brandon." In connection con-nection with pictures a program was lso give vlr'di consisted of a vocal solo by M'ss' Edna Hardy, a reading by Miss Bird Conley and a vocal solo by Ferry Faux. The entire program was enjoyed by a very large crowd. The characters of the play were represented re-presented by Prenalla Larsen. Ella Nelson. Hazel Faux. Clara StarK, Iceland Ice-land Frandsen, Nathan Faux, and Edgar Ed-gar Blackham. |
