' Albert Bailey, found, in a barn early Sunday morning by his brother in a dying condition ! passed away late Monday night j from his injuries He had cut I his throat with a pocket knife, j Bailey, who was a farmer, aged 35 years, living at Moroni j with his parents, had been despondent de-spondent for some time, but had given no intimation of any j intention to commit suicide. ! He went to the barn Sunday morning to do the chores. After Af-ter he had been gone an unusually un-usually long period of time, his j mother asked one of his brothers to go to the barn and look for him. On entering the barn the brother heard gasps coming from one corner of the structure. struc-ture. Going there he found Albert lying on the floor conscious, con-scious, but greatly weakened by loss of blood fi-om the gash in his neck. Help was called and Dr. Winters at once summoned, but the loss of blood was too great. Before dying Bailey made known to his parents that his wounds were self-inflicted. The cause for his act has not been stated. Mr. Bailey was survived by N his parents, five brothers and sisters. Funeral service were held at the meeting house on Thursday. |
