Show '&o?i vC-ecSSJ VS-cxsvil vq&- Mrs. E. D. Sorensen Died In California Impressive funeral services for Mrs. E. D. Sorensen, who died of cerebral tumor, Tuesday night, December De-cember 23, at Los Angeles, California, Califor-nia, were held at the North Ward Chapel 'at Manti, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Bishop N. R. Peterson presiding. Judge Christensen, Elder Robert L. Anderson and Bishop N. R. Peterson gave eulogies in tribute to the beautiful character and loving spirit of this good woman, and words of comfort were spoken for the bereaved husband, Judge E. U. Sorensen and little daughter. A profusion of beautiful flowers, symbolizing sym-bolizing the life of this esteemed woman, were given by her many friends. Excellent musical numbers were furnished by members of the choir and friends of the departed. A quartet "A Perfect Day" was rendered by members of the choir, A vocal solo was given by T. W. Vickers ot Nephi, and a soprano Isolo was given by Miss Mildred Bradford Brad-ford of Ephraim. Mrs. Sorensen has been a sufferer for about four years. All that was possible has been done for her and a couple of months ago she was taken to Los Angelesr'in the hope of relief, but all to no avail. Mrs. Sorensen was the daughter of A. P. Voorhees of Manti and was born at that city 33 years ago on the 8th day of last April and has lived there all he. life. She leaves a husband and but one child, a little daughter. |
