Show ; cmJNTYCOMMISSIONERS i DESIG-; DESIG-; NATE HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICTS School Board Members Appointed ) ! s The board of County Commissioners Commis-sioners met in special session May J 14th, in pursuance with the law as recently passed by the State Legis- lature to designate school districts of the first class and to divide each district named into five representative representa-tive precincts and to appoint Boards of Education in each district as provided pro-vided by law. Numerous petitions were presented present-ed before the board and committees and representative men from most S( every Town and City in the County were present to offer suggestion as to how each district should be divided di-vided into representative precincts and to present their choice for the appointment of members on the board of education. The board of County Commission-1 Commission-1 ers after considering these petitions ! and the statements and suggestions offered by the cmmivtees present ., designated the North Sanpete High ( School District as now constituted j and made a County School District 1 of the first class under -the provision, of law, as the North Sanpete School District and divided the same into five representative precincts and ap- ( pointed a member of the board of education in each of the respective precincts as follows: Indianola, Milburn and Fairview precincts were made into representative representa-tive precinct No. 1, with E. H. Anderson An-derson of Fairview named as the member of the board of education from this precinct. Mount Pleasant was designated as precinct No. 2 with C. N. Lund of Mount Pleasant appointed ap-pointed as a member of the board of education. Spring City and Chester Ches-ter was designated as precinct No. 3 and John S. Blain of Spring City received re-ceived the appointment as a member of the board from this precinct. Moroni, Mor-oni, Freedom and that part of Mea-dowville Mea-dowville lying in Moroni precinct was designated as precinct No. 4 and Ja-bez Ja-bez Faux, Jr., of Moroni was appointed ap-pointed a member of the bard to represent re-present this precinct. Wales and Fountain Green precincts were designated des-ignated as precinct No. 5 and Henry Jackson of Fountain Green received the appointment as a member from this precinct. The South Sanpete High School District as now constituted and made a school district of the first class un- der the new law was designated by the board as the South Sanpete School District and divided into live representative precincts as follows: Ephraim was designated as precinct No. 1 and D. W. Thompson of Ephraim Eph-raim was appointed a member of the board of education from this precinct. pre-cinct. Manti was designated as precinct pre-cinct No. 2 and J. B. Jacobson of Manti received the appointment as a member of the board to represent this precinct. Mayfield and Sterling was designated as precinct No. 3 and Clyde Whltlock of Mayfield received the appointment on the board for this precinct. Centerfield precinct and part of Clarion was designated as precinct No. 4 and A. L. t 'pasted 'pa-sted of Centerfield was appointed a member of the board from this precinct. pre-cinct. Gunnison, Fayette and pait of Clarion was designated as precinct No. 5 and John M. Knighton of Gunnison Gun-nison received the appointment as a member of the board to represent this precinct. The salary of the board of education educa-tion for each district was fixed by the board of County Commissioners in the sum of $200 per year a"d travel-ine travel-ine expenses not to exceed the sum ot 100 per vjar.
