Show MORONI Friday May 14th Maple Canyon was the scene of delightful picnic in which the boys of the Moroni High School proved themselves royal entertainers. On Friday morning when students and teachers began to arrive for school work all indications pointed to the fact that such a thing as work was to be forgotten for the day. The array of wagons, cooking utensils and food showed plainly that a good time was in store. Ten thirty found every one in the canyon and in just the right mood for sport. The boys evinced a willingness iui wont nitu-erto nitu-erto unthought of. The wagon load of supplies was pushed up the canyon can-yon to the cabin where the boys, who showed an organization equal to that of the German army, divided themselves into groups, built camp fires and produced a meal that put shame to every girl in the crowd, the domestic science teacher included. Among the things to disappear rapidly ra-pidly were fried chicken, French fried potatoes, corn, peas, cake, fruit, milk and tea "a la Bennion." After the sumptuous spread Professor Pro-fessor Anderson's band boys produced produc-ed their instruments and the walls of old Box canyon reechoed to some lively liv-ely tunes. Following the splendid musical program the crowd disappeared disap-peared in exploring parties, some on horseback and some afoot.
