Show Health Committee Urges Support Of Community The local Junior Oha.mber of Commerce healt.i committee consisting con-sisting of John Becker, Jo-'.n McAllister, McAl-lister, Carrol Madsen, Stanley Peterson Pe-terson and Milton Hagst3ff, have been notified from national headquarters head-quarters that February first has been set aside as National Health Day. Attention is called to i special spe-cial program which will be broadcast broad-cast over the air and 'Which will t; of extreme inteiest to all listenoro-. February first marks the 26th annual an-nual .meeting of Ohe American Social So-cial Hygiene Association, which will oe broadoast over KFEL, Denver, and KFRC, San Francisco, 3:30 to 3:45 Mountain Time, and over station sta-tion KVOD Denver, KGO San Francisco and KUTA Salt Lake City from 4:45 to 5 p. m. Featured on the program will be Dr. Livingston Farrand, president-emeritus president-emeritus of Cornell as ohairman; jvlrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Surgeon General Thom'as Parran Jr. Dr. Parian will cn this occasion occas-ion receive the Hilliam Freeman 3tiow Award for outstanding service serv-ice to humanity. Mrs. Roosevelt wm speak m congratulation. The local committee is formulit-m:-,' plans io, a public education program1 on the cure and preven-tiOii preven-tiOii oi venereal disease. Speakers for the me'dical association are being be-ing arranged for and it is hoped that this humian scourge can be, through public education, completely complet-ely done away wife.
