Mrs. Laura R. Peterson of Fair-vieis Fair-vieis was a guest at the home of her sister, Mrs. Kristina Strate, t'.ie latter part of last week. j Mrs. Ferd Clark and small daugh-1 ter visited last week with relatives in Salt Lake City and Park City. j Mrs. A. The occasion was the wedding wedd-ing anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Carlson. Mrs. Elizabeth D. Larsen is ill at her riome here. . Funeral services were held on Friday at 1 p. m. in the Spring Oily ward chapel for Peter Ras-.raussen. Ras-.raussen. Bisfcop James F. Ellis conducted con-ducted the services. Music was furnis'aed by the ward choir under direction of Mrs. Rose R. Schofield. The songs were "Come Unto Me", "Oh It Is Wonderful" and "Beau-: tiful Home." A vocal solo '"Oh My ! Father" was given by Odd Jonah-! sen.- Prayers were offered by H. William Peterson, and Joseph G. Sc. ofield. The speakers were John r. Blain, John Petersen, William E. ; R:tiinsen. Blain Larsen and Ferrell M. Scrensen. The -Ubearers wore nepr.cljfS of Mr.'Ratussen. Inter- I rr.ent was in the family plot in the 5', ring City cemetery under the direction di-rection of Jacobs Mortuary. Peter Rasmussen died Monday at tie hootte of his sister Mrs. Mary Soiensen from carcinoma. He was jorn in Spring City August 12th, .885, toe son of Peter and Kristine Larsen Rasm.ussen. He married Victoria Koff crd who died Septem- ber 20th, 1917. He is survived by ;wo sisters, Mrs. Mary Sorensen of Spring City and Mrs. Emma Petersen Pe-tersen of Wcodside. Mr. Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen was a farmer and woolgrower. Mrs. Mary Finell attended Lead-ership Lead-ership Week at the B. Y. U. at Prcvo the fore part of last week. I W ,ile milking a cow last week, Mr. Edward Hansen Iwas knocked! over by the cow, and while down it kicked him resulting in several broken ribs. He is reported to be slowly improving. A number of Spring City people attendedi the President's Birthday Ball held Mondfy evening at the Arnory in Mt. Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. J. Devon Herman-sen Herman-sen spent the .weekend at Parowan.
