Show Reception Honors Newlyweds After Temple Ceremony The wedding reception of Glenda Harding and Ronald Anderson was held Wednesday, Feb. 2, and a large group of friends and relatives rela-tives drove here from Salt Lake City, Provo, and Wasatch County Coun-ty and from here, to honor the young couple, who were married Tuesday, Feb. 1 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Against a picturesque romantic valentine setting the young couple received relatives and friends in the First-Fifth ward recreation hall. In the lineup with the bride and groom were the bride's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse R. Harding, Hard-ing, the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Anderson, Mrs. Evelyn' Wilkinson, matron of honor, hon-or, and Miss Monta Lua Walker, Glenda Kocherhans, and Jeannine Johnson. Dale Lewis stood as best man. Dainty little flower girls were Chelda Flock and Nadel Cul-mer. Cul-mer. The bride was charming in a ballerina length gown of Chantilly lace over satin with fitted bodice, and long pointed sleeves. The full skirt was enhanced with rows of lace and net ruffles. Her sheer veil of French illusion fell from a dainty dain-ty tiara of seed pearls and rhine-stones. rhine-stones. She carried a bridal bouquet of pink roses, a feather carnations, tied with silver net. Her attendants were gowned in shades of pink and held bouquets of roses and carnations. The prettily pret-tily clad little flower girls carried small baskets of pink rosebuds. Receiving guests at the door were Bishop and Mrs. Welby Gammon Gam-mon and the groom's grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Woolf. Organ music, during the receiving receiv-ing hours was played by Dee Win-terton Win-terton of Kamas. Valdez Cox attended at-tended to the registration of guests. Clifford Bradley, Larry Bever-idge Bever-idge and Robert Gammon ushered. Clifford Hales, master of ceremonies, cere-monies, introduced the program numbers. Prayer was given by Welby Gammon; a vocal solo by Clark Jolley, accompanied by Jean-nine Jean-nine Johnson; reading, Howard Driggs, two vocal numbers, girls sextettes, a toast to the bride, Mrs. H. E. Bradley and a toast to the groom, Elinor Beaugaard. A vocal solo, Monta Lou Walker Walk-er 'accompanied by Dee Winter-ton; Winter-ton; a dance number by Dee Win-terton, Win-terton, Jeanne Foote; a Hawaiian i dance by Judy Hales and Judy . Barton and Benediction by Bishop Bish-op LaMont Walker of Kamas. Following the program guests mingled freely and enjoyed: refreshments re-freshments and viewed the lovely gift display. The table in the serving serv-ing room was centered with a gorgeous three-tiered wedding cake topped by a bride and groom, and flanking the centerpiece were red hearts, roses and lighted candles. Formally clad young ladies lad-ies who served were Jane Linebaugh, Line-baugh, Marguerite Young, Dianne Gammon, Elizabeth Miller, Judy Flock. Primary workers, close associates assoc-iates of the bride, arranged the gift display. Receiving gifts at the ' door were Eddie Harding, David , Ferre, LaMar Culmer and Johnny Flack. Accompanying the young couple and witnessing the impressive temple rites where R. J. Burton officiated, were parents of the young people and the groom's grandparents, Mr. andi Mrs Milton Woolf, and Mrs. Welby Gammon. |
