H L , M , ... - 4BMBiiAWiiBA(SWi Lyman Nielsons Honored at Reception Following Marriage in Salt Lake Temple Many relatives and friends from Pleasant Grove on Sept. 28 attended at-tended the wedding reception of Norma Giles and Lyman Nielson in the Avalon Ballroom, where in an artistic setting the young couple received relatives and friends. The charming bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forest L. Giles of Bluffdale, was attired in white satin and lace covered bodice with skirt, lace covered bodice with Peter Pan collar and long sleeves inset with lace' and tapering to lily points. Her sheer elbow length veil fell from a tiara of lace enhanced with rhinestones. Her bouquet of gardenias nestled in yellow roses and stephonitis. Her attendants all donned gowns of autumn shades and carried harmonizing har-monizing bouquets. They were matron ma-tron of honor Katherine Silcox, maid of honor, Kathie Jones, brides maids Jeanne Hott, Ventia Crump. Linda Nielson was junior bridesmaid. brides-maid. Pretty little flower girls were Becky, Mary, Margaret Varney. Assuming best man duties was Grant Nielson, brother of the groom. Others in the lineup were the parents of the young couple, Mr. and Mrs. Giles and Mr. and Mrs. George L. Nielson. A short program ana dancing completed the evening's festivities. Musical reading was given by Kathie Jones, Mrs. Mary Varney offered the clever toast to the bride and groom. Ushers for the affair were Sherman Sher-man Varney, Wayne Silcox, Mike Ganz, Paul Jackson and Larry Giles.' The young couple exchanged nuptial vows earlier in the day in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They will make their home in Pleasant Grove. |
