MERLYN PACK Tcrnp'e IMardcage Unites Merlyn Pack And Jecmnine Berry Last Friday In impressive teii'ple rites, Jean-nine Jean-nine Berry became the bride of Merlyn Pack Friday morning, October Oc-tober 7 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple with Elder Robert F. Burton Bur-ton officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Berry of Cedar Fort, while Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Pack are parents of the groom. Witnessing the ceremony were the bride's grandmothers, Mrs. Sarah Berry and Mrs. Amy Smith and her aunt, Mrs. Ed Sheldon. The groom's parents and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pack and Mrs. Estelle Pack were also present. Following the temple marriage the wedding party wene guests of the groom's parents at a wedding breakfast at Ben and Otto's Cafe. In the evening Mr. and Mrs. Berry entertained at wedding reception re-ception honoring the newlyweds at the Cedar Fort recreation hall, which was fittingly decorated for the occasion. The bride received friends in a creation of white satin and lace, and sheer fingertip veil. She carried a large white orchid circled by white carnations and baby-orchids. Her attendants were Joyce Littleford of Lehi, Lu Jean-nine Jean-nine Hacking, Eileen Elton, Leita Strickland, LaRae and LaRee Strickland, Lueen Peterson, each beautifully gowned in blue and holding white carnations and red rosebuds. Pretty little flower girls were Leslie Berry, niece of the bride, and Edna Pack, sister of tho gloom. Erwin Pack assumed best man duties for his brother. Also assisting assist-ing in the lineup were parents of , the bride and groom. j Greeting guests at the door were ; Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Berry and ' Mr. and, Mrs. Paul Pack. Mrs. Jo . Ann Anderson handled the guest ' book. ! Ushers were Lewis and Jack Berry, Russell Pack, Larry Smith, Reese Blackhurst and Tommy Atkinson. At-kinson. I Boyd Fugal of Manila emceed the program which consisted of the following: a tap dance by the Veater twins cf Lehi; two vocal solos, "Melody of Love" and "I Love You Truly" by Glade Berry; acrobatic dance, Ora Jean Peterson; Peter-son; 'original song, Marlene Cook; original reading-, written by Mrs. Elizabeth Cook, and read by Lois Cook. Dancing completed the evening's ev-ening's festivities. ! Arrangement of the gift display I was directed by Mary Anderson. Gift bearers were Paula Kay Peterson, Pet-erson, Sherrie Ann Fenton and Linda Pack. In the serving room, all formally form-ally clad were Glenda Cook, Shirley Shir-ley Cook, Pamela Wells, Brenda Blackhurst, Ann Pack and Lois Pack. The newlyweds are currently honeymooning in Las Vegas and other points. Upon their return home they will establish a home in Lehi. |
