Show Reception Held For Newlyweds Mrs. Norma J. Hales on Wednesday Wed-nesday evening entertained at a well arranged reception honoring her daughter Nadine and Walter M. Adamson, who were married on October 28 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. The bridegroom, is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Adamson. The happy young couple, with their parents and attendants greeted friends in a romantic setting set-ting of whitte chrysanthemums and gleaming candelbra. j For her wedding the bride donned don-ned a gown of exquisite lace over white satin with satin panel front, fitted bodice and lace sleeves. Her veil, fingertip length, fell from a fitted lace bonnet. She carried a bridal bouquet of red roses and white carnations. Others in the lineup were maid of honor, the bride's sister, Miss Wilma Hales, and Miss Barbara Jarman, Miss LaVon Adamson, Mrs. Thomas Adamson, Miss Joan Hardman and Miss Verna Jarman. All were dressed in pastel for-mals. for-mals. Thomas Adamson stood as best man for his brother. Other were the brides mother, her uncle Legrande Jarman, the groom's parents, and the brides grandmother, Mrs. Hales, and the pretty little flower girls Sherrie Gay Humphries and Kathy Framp-ton. Framp-ton. Receiving guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Allen and Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Sagers. Miss Nancy Wiscomb assumed the duties of registering guests. Elwood Baxter, master of ceremonies, cere-monies, introduced the well-arranged program. Dancing and refreshments con- eluded the evenings festivities and viewing tthe outstanding gift display. dis-play. The newlyweds will make their home in Orem. Walter and Nadine were accompanied accom-panied to the temple by the brides mother, and Mr. and Mrs. Le-Grande Le-Grande Jarman, Jack Harmon, Mrs. Leon Mecham, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Swenson. Doris Wralker and Barbara Bar-bara Jarman, all of whom witnessed witness-ed the impressive ceremony, performed per-formed by Elder David Broadbent. Following the marriage the party par-ty were joined by the groom's parents, par-ents, and all enjoyed dinner at the Utah Cafe before returning home. |
