Naylor Arranging the lovely gift display dis-play were Mrs. Sam Naylor, Mrs. Leah Greenburg, Mrs. Josephine Drage. Receiving gifts at the door were Karen Belliston, Maurine Merrill and Sharon Dooge. The young couple were married Monday, January 7th, in the Salt Lake L. D. S. temple, with Elder Marion G. Romney officiating. More than 30 relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony, among these were the Davis Stake Presidency Presi-dency and their wives also the Bountiful ward Bishopric and their wives. Following a brief honeymoon in Salt Lake City and San Francisco, Mr. Naylor has embarked for the LDS mission field in the Hawaiian Islands, while his bride will resume re-sume her position as Industrial Illustrator at the Lockhead plant in Los Angeles. Prior to their marriage the couple were extensively entertained entertain-ed by friends in Hollywood, the outstanding event being a large reception at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Dunn of the Hollywood ward. The new Mrs. Naylor is a graduate grad-uate of the BYU and of the University Uni-versity of Utah. She filled a mission mis-sion for her church in Northern California. The last six years she has spent continuing her art -work in Hollywood, Holly-wood, and at present is commercial commer-cial illustarator at Lockhead plant. Aside from commercial work, Mrs. Naylor does fine landscaping. Her benedict is also a graduate of the BYU; has studied at the McCune School of Music in Salt Lake City, and is an accomplished musician. He served in the U.S. navy in World War II, and is currently engaged in the publishing business. At a very nicely arranged, but informal reception Mr. and Mrs. Burton H. Adams entertained a large group of relatives and friends last Saturday evening at the Pleasant Grove Second ward recreation hall, honoring their daughter Joan Worthy and Daniel I. Naylor, who were married earlier in the week. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Naylor of Bountiful are parents of the groom. In the lineup with the popular couple were their parents; Mrs. Robert James, sister of the bride, matron of honor; and Jerry Taylor best man. The bride was gowned in an informal in-formal yellow silk dress. Other ladies in line also wore tasteful street length dresses. The serving table was covered with a beatiful cut work linen cloth, centered with a gorgeous two tiered wedding cake, flanked by lighted white candles in crystal holders. A large basket of white and yellow chrysantemums and blue iris and potted plants adorned the stage. Robert James was usher ,and Mrs. . Wesley Jense, performed the duties of dining room hostess. She was assisted by Mrs.-Pauline Lunceford and Mrs. Ray Dever-eax. Dever-eax. Young ladies who served were Gene Dalton, Nancy War-nick, War-nick, Shirley Swcnson, Marlene Hurst. |
