Show William M. Hone Is Honored By His Family On His 75th Birthday Anniversary A very enjoyable family gathering gather-ing was held in honor of the 75th birthday anniversary of William M. Hone at his residence Sunday afternoon. His six children. sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and 30 of his 32 grandchildren were present. Willis Brimhall, a graduate student at the University of Arizona, at Tucson, Tuc-son, and Louise Brimhall, Elementary Elemen-tary Music Supervisor of Jefferson County school at Rigby, Idaho, were the only members absent. The afternoon was spent with fun for the smaller children and then entertainment for all in the evening. At six o'clock, a buffet supper was served to all. The table was decorated with a beautiful birthday cake made and decorated by his daughter Muriel. Tall tapers, tap-ers, roses and baby mums helped to beautify the table. A sketch of Mr. Hone's life was given in the form of an original poem by his daughter Jennie. Then the candles were lighted and every one sang "Happy Birthday Dear Daddy and Grandpa." Family members present besides Mr. and Mrs. Hone were Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Brimhall and family; Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Hone and family; fam-ily; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gilbert and family, all of Pleasant Grove: Mr. and Mrs. Le Fay Steele and family of American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Arlin Fowler and family of Lohi; and Mr. and Mrs. W. Reed Nut-tall Nut-tall and family of Provo. Mr. Hone was born at Benjamin, Utah, Nov. 4, 1884. He moved to Pleasant Grove in 1909 and has resided re-sided here since. He has spent his entire life as an apiarist and has contributed much to bee cul- J ture here in the state. He has been a county bee inspector for many years and has been consulted consul-ted by many on the bee-keeping business. J |
