Show Logan, Utah, San Francisco, California, and Kent Field, California Cali-fornia and have been studying in the field of radio. Mr. West is a son of Mrs. Ethel W. Carlson of Pleasant Grove and Mr. Johnson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Johnson of Windsor. Mr. Sterling Johnson has recently re-cently been made a fireman second sec-ond class in the U. S. Navy. Mr. Harold Hooley has been transferred to Cooledge, Nevada. Cpl. Dale Fugal of the U. S. Marines called his mother, Mrs. Delilah Fugal, from Jacksonville, Florida, to extend Mother's Day greetings. Seaman Second Class Don Bronson arrived here Monday from Camp Farragut, Idaho, to spend a short visit with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rich-ins Rich-ins and other relatives. With The Service Men Lt. Don Hilton called his parents by long distance telephone Sunday, Sun-day, to extend Mothers Day greetings, greet-ings, and inform them that he is being transfered from Blythe, Cal. to a camp in Tennessee. Second Lieutenant Kenneth Gillman, Gill-man, is enjoying a furlough here with his father Horace Gillman & family and other relatives. Technical Segeant Ralph Thorne was visiting friends here Wednesday. Wednes-day. Sgt. Thorne is stationed at Los Angeles, in the office of the Service of Supply. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thorne, former for-mer ly of this city, is a graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School, and a former student of the B. B. U. K. Eugene West and Milton J. Johnson reported at Fort Douglas Doug-las for induction into the U. S. Army on Saturday, May 8. Both young men have for months been training as reserves in schools at |
