Attend 2-day Outine p A large group of young men una women ieit by truck early Monday morning for Mutual Dell where they enjoyed three days of relaxation at the popular summer home. Under the direction of M. I. A. officers Richard Allred Superintendent Superin-tendent Y. M. M. I. A. and Mary D.- HoHoley-Y.-W.- M. I. A. presi- dent, a well arranged program was ctrried out. " Monday passed with the usual camp preparations and sports and hiking in the afternoon. Tuesday was Ward Day, and many ward members spent the late afternoon and evening in . recreatioal activities and attending t h e-progra m7wh ich was staged" i n . the amphitheatre with Ford M. Paulson master of ceremonies. First the -jroup listened to allur-' ii.g instrumental music from farther far-ther up the canyon amid the pines, with-A. R. Overlade trumpet and ' E. A. Beck, trombone. A humorous reading was given by Miss Joyce Clark; a tribute to" scouting and to local scouts was ' v p-Ken hv M. D. Wallace, with .a minute of reverent silence as attribute at-tribute to (43 scouts and former scouts of tfhe second ward who . now servji ng in ; . the - - armed - - ---v forces. '.' .
