Show Nels Swenson Died Sunday In California Word has 'been receiived by relatives rel-atives here of the death of Nels A. Swenson well known architect archi-tect and carpenter, formerly of Pleasant Grove. Mr. Swens0n died Sunday at his home in Huntington Hunting-ton Park, California, after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted conduc-ted Thursday in the Huntington Park Ward Chapel, with burial in the LDS tract of the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Swenson was born in Swe-I Swe-I den 59 vears asro to Andrew and Elsa Swenson. When a small child he came with his parents, converts to the LDS church, to this country, settling in Pleasant Grove. Mr. Swenson was an architect and carpenter of n0 mean abliity and many homes here, including the Second ward chapel are monuments mon-uments to bis fine workmanship. Twelve years ago, due to failing fail-ing health he moved with his family to California, where he has since resided. Surviving are his widow, Mabel MtTnltnTT- OTimT.nr. . TJ KQucia ovvciiouii, ulig auil, l.'jy Swenson and a grandauahter, Sharleen, and three sisters, Mrs. Hilda S. Anderson of Lindon, Mrs.Ida S. Peterson and Mrs. Anna An-na S. Clark of Salt Lake City. Also a stepmother, Mrs. Emma Swenson of Lindon, and four step brothers, Emil Swenson, Salt Lake; Herman Swenson Salt. Lane; and Lloyd and Vern Swenson, Swen-son, Lindon. |
