Show RECEPTION GIVEN FOR YOrXG COUPLE Complimenting their daughter Joyce, and Leslie Neves, who were united in marriage in the Salt 'Lake Temple "Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Patten of Pleasant View, entertained at a largely attended reception Saturday Sat-urday evening in the Pleasant View ward hall. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Neves of this! city. Yellow and white streamers formed a canopy over the ceiling and flowers of the season were arranged in the windows. The bride wore a beautii'ul gown of white satin over net and her long veil of net and lace was caught to a pearl coronet. She carried rosebuds and gardenias. gar-denias. Attending as maid of honor was May Beth Efradsha-w, and the bridesmaids were Lucile Moon, Joan Patten, sister of the bride; Nelma Muhlstein and Joan Stewart. Stew-art. They were in alternatting frocks of pink .and blue and wore corresponding corsages. Reed Radmall was best man, and at-tirel at-tirel in formals, Carolyn Patten, the brides sister, was flower girl and the trainbearers were Linda Patten and Brent Patten, sister sis-ter and cousin, respectively. Refreshments were served under un-der the direction of Mrs. A. Ray Ekins and Mrs. Edith Meredith, by the following girls: Alene Phillips, Myra Colvin, Joan Lee, Ruth McKell, Maxlne Muhlsttin and JoAnn Brake. WALKER Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowley of Venice, Utah, announce the marriage mar-riage of their daughter Lorna F. lo Stanley Harlvey Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Walker of Pleasant Grove. Following the temple marriage dinner for the bridal party was enjoyed at the Hotel Utah. The couple left the same day for a short honeymoon trip through the canyons of southern Utah. The new Mrs. Walker is a grad uate of Richfield high school and last year attended the RYU, where she was vice president of the freshman class. Her benedict is a 1942 graduate of the Pleas- ant Grove high school and spent nearly 3 years service in the Pacific, where he attained the rank of Tech Sergeant. They will be at home at 345 East, 5 North in Provo, where both will attend "school. |
