Show Reception Is Held Monday In Ward Chapel - Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Monson an-.......... an-.......... nounce - the marriage of their daughter Winona and Warren P. Kirk, son of Mr and Mrs. S. Alma Kirk of this city. The young couple exchanged vows Monday in the Salt Lake Temple, with President S. L. Chip-man Chip-man officating. Accompanying the youn8T people through the temple were the brides sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jacob. Witnessing the marriage were also the parents of the bride and groom, and Mrs. Mary S. Motison, Mr. and Mrs. Smith Monson, and Mrs. Gene; vieve Cook. The gala affair waaUield in the First ward chapel, where gladiolas and sweet peas made a lovely set-, set-, ting throughout the rooms. In the receiving line in the Relief Re-lief Society hall were, the bride and groom, their parents, Mrs. Calyin acob, the bride's sister matron of honor, Bride's maids Miss Le Vieve Monson Miss Ber-niece Ber-niece Monson, Miss Emaline Kirk, Mrs. Wilford Woolf, and the bride- groom's grand-mother Mrs. Lydia Lund & Lieutenaift Wilford Woolf best' man.' Ushers were Calvin Jacob and M. D, Wallace. . The "bride was 'beautifully gowned gown-ed iii white satin with fingertip veil and carried a bridal bouquet of gardenias and red roses. Mrs. Jacob wore a formal gown of white .satin-with a corsage" of peachrose- .buds. ' ij Miss LeVieve Monson wore white --' i, lace and net and - red - rosebuds, while Miss Berinece Monson was atired in dainty rose taffeta with a corsage of peach roses. Miss Kirk wore pink net with a corsage of red roses. Mrs. Wolf chose, . a gown jjxim a hlaiik velvet '..bodica and white net skirt. Hers was a corsage cor-sage of gardenias. I . Mrs. Monson and Mrs. Kirk wore black. Mrs. Monson accented her gown with pink roses, while Mrs. Kirk's corsage was gardenias. Mrs. t Lund wore a becoming gown , of blue and white silk, with a harmonizing har-monizing corsage. The groom wore evning clothes while the best man was in uniform. After the bridal party entered the ball room Dr. T. Earl Pardoe. waster of ceremonies conducted ' - Refreshments were in charge of Mrs. J. E. Hardmari, and Mrs, Marguerite Lund presided in the serving room. . Assisting were the Misses Hazel Hardman, Alta Mae King, Carol Smith, 'Zoe Adams, Joyce Clark and Lyravine Jensen. The lovely gift display was presided pre-sided over by Mrs. Lacy White, assisted by Mrs. Leone Told, Mrs. Alvin Monson( Miss Lyle Beck, Miss Maurine Beck, Miss Louise Brirtihall, Mrs. Lillie Beck, and Miss Eloise Richards. Little ladies who received the gifts at the door were Patsy Anderson, Jerry Bradley, Brad-ley, Nadine Monson, Therolee Monson Mon-son ad Marliyn Simper, . ' Both gride and groom are very popluflrly known here and. in Provo musical circles. , The bride received a B. A. degree" at he B. Y. U. and has for the past" two years been teaching in pVlpine School districV-and is a very accomplished musican. Mr. Kirk is also a graduate of the B. Y. U.
