Show Timpanogos Stake Annual, Gold and Green Ball To Be Held Saturday Evening All preparations have been made for the big event of the 1944 social soc-ial season, the Timpanogos Stake Gold and Green ball to be held on Saturday evening at the Pleasant Grove High School Gymnasium. The hall has been decorated, the floor show has ben prepared, the dances have been rehearsed, and all of the multitude of details have received careful attention. The decorations in agreement with the theme "America . The Land of Promise" are Datriotic. The ball will begin sJT P- m. At 10 o'clock the floor $, fovf will start. This will consist of the crowning of the Queen, June Culi-more Culi-more of the Lindon Ward, with "Hail, the Queen." Then a group of young married folks will dance "Walt Quadrille." This will be followed by an all girls dance, "Dance in Four" acocmpanied by Waren Kirk's chorus. The many person who have worked on this event feel that this -.P8r' Gold and Green Ball will long be remembered as an outstanding out-standing success. They extend to you a cordial invitation. Those who have been in charge cf the various phases of the dance are: Director of dance Mrs. Wilma Creen Myers. Floor show Mrs- Wm. Smith, George Paul. Decorations Calvin .Swcson. Mrs. Effie Adams, Mis. Oral Wright, Miss Marilyn Richards, Gene Fugal, Mrs. Donna Ash. Howard Nelson's orchestra will provide the music. The admission is $1.00 with 2c for extra ladies. |
