Warnick has returned from the Utah Valley hospital and is improving im-proving nicely. Mrs. Thelma Hansen was hostess host-ess to a number of her friends on Wednesday evening. The evening was spent in playing cards, and prizes were won . by Mae Morgan and Merida Danklef. A lovely lunch was served to the following friends: Jessie Mart, Mae Morgan, Marcele Atkinson, Gwen Richards, Merida Danklef, and Edna Atkinson. Mrs. J. C. Hilton entertained a few friends at dinner Sunday evening eve-ning complimenting the birthday anniversary of her nephew Eugene Hilton. Covers were laid for S. W. Hilton and sons Eugene, Robert, Rob-ert, and Floyd, Joseph Anderson, Mrs. Bob Huish, Mrs. Ethel Carlson, Carl-son, and the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hilton. The Pleasant Grove Red Cross branch has been organized as follows: Neil Y- Fugal, chairman; Ruby W. Fugal, co-chairman; Lucille P. Hillman, secretary and treasurer; Ora Thorne, home service ser-vice chairman; Harold Smith, First Aid chairman: Lela Banks, knitting chairman; Mary Movie, sewing chairman; Calvin Walker, drive chairman; A. B. Gibson, publicity chairman; and Karl Banks, Junior Red Cross chairman. |
