Show County Pays Smaller Taxing Units American Fork received $1356.39 the first apportionment of the 1942 taxes, this week. Amounting to a total of $75,204.07, the first allotment allot-ment to the taxing units of the county was announced Saturday by Frank T. Bennett, county treasurer. The amounts were apportioned as follows: Lehi, $960.21; Alpine, $119.81; American Fork, $1356.39; American Fork Metropolitan water district, $21.19; Pleasant Grove $1293.02; Lindon, $143.48; Orem, $947.27; Or-em Or-em Metropolitan Water district, $121.78; Alpine school district, $7449.43; Provo city, $13,354.75; Provo school district, $12,973.19; Provo Metropolitan Water district, $381.56. Springville, $2187.39; Mapleton, $172.04; Spanish Fork, $1648.39; Salem, $138.47; Payson, $1392.45; Santaquin, $187.96; Genola, $21.05; Goshen, $62.36; Nebo school district, $6594.08; state schools, $8290.65; Utah county fund, which includes highways, infirmary, poor and indigent, in-digent, public welfare, memorials, and weeds, $14,288.15. |
