Show Exporting Cows To Effect Local Milk Supply Don E. Kenney, member of the state agricultural commission reported re-ported last week that large exports of milk cows are being made from Utah at a time when additional supplies of milk are needed for the growing civilian and military population. pop-ulation. He declared that unless such sales are stopped it will be necessary neces-sary to import cows from other states to avert a serious shortage of milk and dairy products. He appealed to Utah farmers as a "patriotic duty" not to sell producing pro-ducing cows out of the state. Mr. Kenney said it had been reported re-ported that one dairy's entire output out-put has been taken over bp the army air basic training center at Kearns. |
