Show PL Grove News Mr. and Mrs. Heber Day of Murray were visiting friends in this city, Sunday. Observing the birthday anniversary anniver-sary of Dr. B. C. Linebaugh, the Doctor and Mrs. Linebaugh and Mr. and Mrs Reed Crystal and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simper enjoyed dinner and the show, "Tomorrow Is Forever" in "Provo last Saturday Sat-urday evening. Mrs. J. S. Holdaway had as her guest from Thursday until Sunday, her grandson Jack Holdaway frorn Afton, Wyoming. The young man was one of six students from the Afton High School, chosen to attend a journalism jour-nalism convention at the Brigham Young University. Jack, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Oran Holdaway, Hold-away, is a senior at the Afton High School and is editor of the school paper. To help her celebrate her birthday birth-day anniversary, Mrs. Earnest Jense entertained a number o'f close friends and neighbors at her home on Thursday of last week. The afternoon was spent in informal in-formal chat and (fun followed by luncheon served to Mrs. Ed Ball, Mrs. Ellen Ellis, Mrs. Mary Bever idge, Mrs. Nettie Jackson, Mrs. Williaim Pearce, Mrs. Albert Anderson, Mrs. Ole Hanson, Mrs. Margaret Anderson, Mrs. Victor Barney, Mrs. Alfred Dexter, all of this city, and Mrs. Wesley Maag of Springville, and all the members of Mrs. Jense's family. |
