Show PIONEER CITIZEN CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY Mr. Joseph H. Adams, prominent resident of Pleasant Grove, celebrated cele-brated his 81st. birthday, Friday Feb. 22. In the evening, his family honored honor-ed him at a Birthday dinner held at the Alpine Grille. The dining room was decorated in accordance with Washington's birthday. While the huge table was laid for 30 guests, with daffodils and a birthday cake as a center piece. Mr. Adams spoke after the dinner telling of some of his past experiences. exper-iences. In spite of his age and popr eye sight, Mr. Adams is very keen & active, being a city officer. He loves to go to town and to visit with his many friends, doing all his own shopping and business, also doing his own cooking and housework. He was honored on old folks day as 1he man who has lived the longest in Pleasant Grove. Those present at the dinner were: Mrs. G. S. Richards and daughters, Mildred Dyer, Lucille, Shirley and Donna Richards of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Clark and daughter of Ogden, Miss Roena Judd of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Robbins, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Dexter, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Robbins, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adams of Orem, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Robbins, Mrs. Roena Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Adams, Mr. Westley Fillerup, Mr. George Adams and Mr. Joseph H. Adams, honored guest all of Pleasant Grove. |
