Show 7 New Members Installed In Local Lions Club Stanley J. Stephenson, manager of the Utah Manufacturers Association Assoc-iation of Salt Lake City, delivered a very, inspirational address before the members of the Pleasant Grove Lions Club and their partners Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at the First Ward Amusement Hall. Over seventy people enjoyed a well prepared banquet, ban-quet, a program and the address. The meeting was in charge of President Presi-dent Samuel Hilton and the program pro-gram was in charge of A. B. Gibson and John Duder. Seven new members were lnt-stallod lnt-stallod ty Lion Merrill N. Warnick, which now makes the membership of the club over fortythis being a substantial gain in membership during dur-ing pie past two years. The new members Installed Wednesday Wed-nesday evening are: Mayor Duane Harper, Vtlace Radmall, D. C. Kleinman, Harold Woolston, George Paul Gerald Belllston. S. Christ -ensen. A girls trio from Nephi, now attending at-tending the Brigham Young University Uni-versity rendered several musical numbers. The personnel of the trio ar: Misss Blanch Ockey, Miss Gertrude Ger-trude Duckworth, and Miss Elaine Paman, accompanied by Miss Nill-son. Nill-son. . The fine banquet was prepared and served under the direction of Mrs. Vera Matthews of the Luncheonette Lunch-eonette Cafe. |
