Newman, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Newman of Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Bertha Swenson announces the marriage of her son Westley O. Swenson to MJss Virginia Vance. The marriage to take place Friday, December 7, at the Salt Lake L. D. S. temple.. Westley has just returned to the state after serving three and one half years overseas. Mr. and Mrs. D. Announcement has been made by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kofford of Orem, of the marriage of their daughter Lenore, and John Laud-ie, Laud-ie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lucius Laudie. The poular young couple were married on Dec. 5th in the Salt Lake LDS temple. A reception in their honor was given Thursday Thurs-day evening in the Lake View A-musement A-musement hall. Cordner-Itoundy Mr. and Mrs. William D. Stewart Stew-art are announcing the marriage of their daughter, Reona Cord-ner Cord-ner to Garth Roundy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Roundy of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. The ceremony was performed by Bishop LeGrand Adamson of Highland at the home of the bride's parents Saturday evening, Dec. 1, with only members of the immediate families present. The bride wore a smart afternoon after-noon dress with a corsage of gardenias. Following a short honeymoon the couple will be at home in American Fork. Many local relatives and friends frtom this community attended the wedding reception Monday e-vening, e-vening, given by Mr. and Mrs. Thos. A. Greenwood of American Fork, honoring their daughter Millie and Staff Sergeant Easton Brown, sonof Mr. and Mrs. E. Pay Brown of PI Grove who were married mar-ried November 27, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The reception held December 3 in the Firmage Hall was said to have been one of the largest crowds ever assembled there for a similar affair. The temple ltles uniting the young couple was performed by Elder Clifford E. Young assistant to the Council of the Twelve, and was witnessed by the birde's parents, par-ents, the groom' parents, and Mr. and Mrs. Dlex Wadley, Mr. and Mrs. Arvll Wadley, Mrs. Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Jones, all of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Elizabeth Egan and David T. Her bridal bri-dal veil of net, edged with lace and caught to a crown of pearls, cascaded the length of her train. Mrs. Douglas C. Strong, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, hon-or, and Miss Jane Brown, sister of the groom was maid of honor. Attending matrons were Mrs. Glen B. Greenwood and Mrs. Erscl Fagan. They were gowned in pastel shades and wore matching match-ing corsages of pink rosebuds and sweet peas. Flower girls were little Connie Strong and Marlam Jones. Earl Chadwick acted as best man for his brother-in-law. In charge of the gifts were Mrs. Earl Chadwick, Mrs. David L. Grant, Mrs. David L.
