Show Funeral Sunday For Mrs. King Mrs. Thomas King, 40, died Tuesday Tues-day eveing, at the home of her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Claude Eaton, at Vernal, Utah. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p. m. at the Pleasant Grove Third ward chapel, under the direction ,of the ward bishopric, with Bishop Joseph. S. Walker in charge. She was born January 12, 1902, at Vernal, Utah, a daughter of Josephus and Margaret Luella Thomas Hatch. She lived most of her life in tnat community, where she attended school and took part in charch activities. She was married on July 17, 1922 to Thomas King. The family lived at Vernal until 1935, when they moved to Pleasant Grove and she has resided .here since that time. Mrs. King was an active member mem-ber of the Latter Day Saints church, having served as a teacher in the Primary association and the Relief Society, and at the time of her death wa a member of the Old Folks Committee of the Third Ward. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Alta Mae and Mar-elyn Mar-elyn King, of Pleasant Grove; her mother, Mrs. Luealla Hatch of Pleasant Grove, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Claude Eaton, Vernal, Joseph Hatch, PI. Grove, Mrs. Ark Busch, Kelso, Cal, Marion Hatch. Pleasant Grove, James Hatch. Duchesne, Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence West Pleasant Grove, Mrs. Essie Dooley, Los .Angeles, Calif.. Jessie Hatch Tittsburg, Fenn., Mrs. Stanley Griffin. Newton and Miss Viola Hatch of St. George, L'tah. Friends may call at the Olpin Bros. Mortuary Saturday evening, and at her home Sunday from 10 o'clock vntil time of the services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. |
