The appointment was made by the student council and the faculty committee on publications, publicat-ions, headed by B. F. Larson. Miss Walker of Pleasnt Grove, has been on the staff of the "Y News" for four years. She was a reporter on the newspaper for the first year feature writer during her Sophomore year, and last year she held the important position as news editor. Miss Walker is a member of the White Keys, national service sorority, sor-ority, and this year she has been war work chairman of that organization. organi-zation. Anne has also had considerable practical newspaper experience, having been correspondent for the Salt Lake Telegram and for the Provo Herald. She is majoring in journalism, and will graduate this spring. |
