Show COUPLE HONORED AT WEDDING RECEPTION Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Christianson cf American Fork entertained at a finely arranged wedding reception recept-ion Friday evening honoring their daughter Betty and Glen Reed Mathews son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Walt-er Mathews of Pleasant Grove. ' The elegant affair was held in J-'irmage 1'Iall where 4 he bridal jiiirly received nearly 500 relatives and friends. In the receiving line were the bride and groom, I heir parents, MissVie Greenwood, maid of honor and brides maids, Misses Mary Lou Mathews, Fae Singleton and June Ncwbaur. Marley Keetch performed perform-ed the duties of best man. The bride wore a trailing gown of white taffeta with sweetheart neck trimmed in fine lace. Her net fingertip veil hung 'from a tiara of seed pearls. She carried a brinal iboquet cf red roses and sweet peas. Her attendants were each gowned in pink formals and they also carried boquets of roses and sweet peas. The small trail bearers, dressed as a bride and groom were Douglas and Colleen Christianson o'f Tooele. C. A. Gromb was master of ceremonies, and following the ibridal -march conducted the well arranged program Refrnshments were in charge of Mrs. Marley Jonesand Mrs. Arno Chnistianson. with Miss Connie Christianson, Miss Larae Sagers, Miss Chloe .Bennett and Miss Norma Larson serving. Mrs Madge Wright and Mrs. Eva Norris presided in the gift room. The young couple were married in the Salt Lake L. D. S. Temple on Feb. 13, with William J. Knight officiating at the double ring ceremony. cere-mony. Accompanying them and witnessing wit-nessing the ceremony were the brides mother, the grooms mother and the brides sisters, Mrs. Merle C. Jones of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Susie C. Horlacher o'f Pioche, Nev. and Mrs. Lloyd Christianson of Tooele, Utah, leaving the Temple the bridal party were joined by the fathers of the newly weds and all enjoyed dinner at the Beau Brummel. |
