Show Local Nevs 'Mrs. O. W. Flygarre of Provo is visiting heps with her .granddaughter, .grand-daughter, Mrs. Eugene Bezzant. William Stage is recuperating at the Amierican Fork hospital from a major operation performed perform-ed last Friday, j Mr. and Mrs. Victor Barney spent Friday and Saturday of last week in Salt Lake City visiting vis-iting with their childrren, Mr. and Mrs. Eugejnji Barnejy and Mr. and Mrs. Basil King. M. Piatt and Madge Walker Tucker became the parents of a 7 and one half pound bahy daughter daugh-ter Monday at the Utah Valley hospital, where mother and ch'ild are doing nioeley. Mr. and Mrs. Red Thompson of Wisconsin were overnight guests from Saturday til Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Barney. Mr. Barney Bar-ney and Mr. Thomfpson were buddies bud-dies for 3 years in the Pacific war zone. Mrs. Kenneth Muver of Helper visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Barney, while her husband attended a business meeting of the Moore Lodge at Springville. A happy group of friends pleasantly pleas-antly surprised Mrs. Dean Atwood At-wood at her homie late Sunday afttprnoon. Games and hatter and a pot luck supper was enjoyed. en-joyed. Guests present were Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Slaton, Mr., and Mrs. Merlyn Wadley, Mrs.. Claude Murphy, Mrs. Ray Pulley, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Wadley and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Holman. Mrs. Roena Clark was pleasantly pleas-antly surprised Sunday evening when the members of her family fam-ily came to her home to do her honor on her birthday anniversary, annivers-ary, bringing picnic and gifts. The time was spent in family visiting, reminescing and "enjoying "enjoy-ing the tasty supper. Self invited guests included Mrs. Clark's father, fath-er, Joseph H. Adams, and George Adams, Mrs. E. W. Robbins. J. R. Adams, Dr. and Mrs. G. S. Richards. Mr. and Mrs. C. A Robbins, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dexter, Dex-ter, Miss Roena-Judd, Weslay : Fillerup and BaNir Judd of Oxk- jley, Idaho. |
