Show Manila Community Fair To Be Held On Friday Afternoon The Manila Community Fair will be held Friday aftornon, August 27th in the ward recreation hall, with livestock exhibits in the grove and will be open for judging at 6.0 oclock, with the achievement program to follow ate S o'clock. The fair is being sponsored by the 4-H Clubs and will include exhibits ex-hibits of livestock, victory garden, canning, cokies, muffins, scrap-books, scrap-books, and recipe files, clothing, girls school dresses and children's costumes, women's handiwork and a lovely flower exhibit. The general committee includes: Mr. and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick, 4-H Club Work; Miss Beverly West, Miss Leah Jean Swensen, Miss Marilyn Warnick, Paul Adams Lee Warnick and Mrs. Beatrice Stokes; Flower exhibits, Mrs. Ber-nice Ber-nice Wadley, and Relief Society Mrs. Jeanette Warnick. In the 4-H Club division prizes of Defense Stamps will be given by the County Commission, in lieu of prizes given in former years at the county fair. Judging will be done in the ladies division by Miss Rhea Hurst county home demonstration de-monstration agetn and S. R. Bos-well, Bos-well, county agent. Girls of the 4-H clubs will compete com-pete in home economics judging. - Each boy and girl will exhibit victory garden products, and various var-ious items connected with their projects. Winning exhibits at the Community Com-munity fair will compete at the county contests to be held in Pro-vo, Pro-vo, Monday and Tuesday, August 30-31. The general public is most cordially cor-dially invited to attend. |
