Show High School Opens Monday j For New Term With a full staff of teachers, and with buildings improved and renovated, Pleasant Grove High School opens for the 1945-40 Academic Acad-emic Year on Monday, September 10, according to Principal Karl Banks. All students in grades 7 to 12 will register on Monday from 9:00 A. M. until 12 noon It is highly important that students register during the hours set apart for this purpose in order to secure desired courses and sections, and also to benefit by the advice and assistance assist-ance of teachers who will be at liberty for that purpose, Students' will note that there is a slight advance in activity and deposit fees. Beginning Tuesday, September 11, school hours will be from 9:00 A M. until 1:00 P. M. This shortened day will continue for at least two weeks, in order that students stu-dents may assist in the harvesting of perishable farm crops. STAi Jo-Ann, I ..- The Granite Stake Presidency and High Council will be guests of Timpanogos Stake Presidency and Council next Sunday, September 9. The local church officials will meet the visitors at the stake office at 9 o'clocok A. M. where each of the Salt Lake men will become the guest of th" local man holding the corresponding office, and assignments assign-ments will be made to each of the six wards. Each of the Timpanogos officers will entertain his guest at dinner, after which air will attend Leadership Lead-ership meeting.' In the ' evening the visitors will be speakers in the various wards of the stake at sacrament meetings. This will be an exchange program pro-gram and later Timpanogos Stake Presidency and High Council will go in a body to Granite Stake. |
