Show Cadmus Club Meets With Mrs. llradlev Cadmus Club met at the home of Beulah Bradley on Monday evening. even-ing. Ora W. Thorne, president was in charge of the meeting. Sytha W. Johnson, chairman of the Educational Committee gave an outline of the years program. The subject of this year's program is "Women" A poem, "A Prayer" by Cel-estia Cel-estia J. Taylor was given by Lucile P. Hillman. Doris Rogers gave the program for the evening, her subject was "Romance of an Old Playhouse" as to women. The musical part of the program was given by Ora W. Thorne. She had chosen recordings by Alma Gluck and Galli Curi of songs they had sung in the Salt Lake theatre. Next club meeting will be held at the home of Lucille P. Hill-man Hill-man on September 15. Ora W. Thorne will conduct a symposium on "Women Soverigns". She will be assisted by Effie Adams, Win-nifred Win-nifred Adamson, Geneva Gibson, fA-fton Miller and Ina Page. Light refreshments were served by the hostess assisted by her daughter, Jerry. |
