Show Local News Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simper and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Crystal spent last weekend fishing at Strawberry Lake. Mr. and Mrs Harvey Miller and family are here from California visiting Mr. Miller's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Miller. j Mr. and Mrs. "Lawrence West left Saturday for Huntington Park, California, to visit with their daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Swenson. Mrs. Ray Devereaux and children child-ren returned from Heber, where they visited several days with their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Ora Sweat and othe relatives. Mi-, and Mrs. J. H. Armitstead were happily surprised Sunday to receive a phone call from their daughter Louise, at Alexandria, La., where she is Jaboring in the Mission field. Miss Armitstead said that she is fine, and that she is enjoying her work very much. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Fischios and children of Salt Lake City visited here with Mrs. Fischios sister, Mrs. J. C. Hilton and family one day this week. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Thorne returned re-turned Monday from Shelley, Idoho where they attended the funeral on Saturday of Mr. Thome's sister, Mrs. Annie Thorne Fugal. Mr. and Mrs. Don Mack Dalton and daughter Lena Gene spent July 24 in Salt Lake City, where they saw the mammoth parade in the morning and attended the pageant, Building American Empire in the University of Utah stadium in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Wllford Neves and Mr. and Mrs. Aries Steiner and two daughters of Layton. relumed Tuesday from a pleasant trip Into Idaho and Wjyoming. Alter visiting Yellowstone park, the party entered the Big Horn, country, former home of the Neves, and visited two days with relatives and friends. Dr. and Mrs. B. C. Linehaugh and three children, John, Jane and Jean are leaving Saturday for several sev-eral weeks visit in Louistown, ,111., where they will visit the Doctors mother and other relatives in 111. and where the Doctor will attend clinics and schools for post graduate grad-uate work. Mrs. Jessie R. Wadley returned recently from through Southeastern South-eastern Iowa and ether points in the middle west. Her visit was with her son Bryce and his wife and two children on the experimental farm of the Iowa State College. From there she made a trip to Carthage and Nauvoo, and returned by way of Kansas City and Independence. Missouri, where she visited the Church office building of the Reorganized Re-organized Church. Here she met Lowell Richins and Barney Hilton, formerly of Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Wadley rorts a very enjoyable and worthwhile vacation. |
