Mr. and Mrs. Brigham Van Wagoner Wag-oner announce the birth of a daughter last week at Bakersfield, California. The little ladies grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. William Black is in California helping in the care of her and her mother. Mr. and Mrs. William Stagg entertained en-tertained their family at a Christ- 18th in the Salt Lake Temple. .Miss Florence Jorgenson of Salt Lake City is spending the holidays with her sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Mack Dalton and family. Mrs. Mathilda Christianson and Malcolm Christianson were Xmas dinner guests of Bishop and Mrs. Reed O. Walker. Mrs. Ellen Hebertson celebrated her 34th Wedding anniversary, the birthday of her daughter, Wilma, and Christmas Day with a Turkey dinner. The guests were Mrs. Heb-ertson's Heb-ertson's two daughters, Rose and Shirley, her grandmother, Mrs. E. J. Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood West and family, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Nelson and daughter, Mr. Bill Hall and the hostess. Walker and family of Spanish Fork. William and Nina White Hunter received a fine gift Christmas morning, mor-ning, a new baby son at the American Amer-ican Fork hospital. Just two years ago their last son was born on Christmas day. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Brough entertained en-tertained at a family dinner on Christmas. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ash and family, and Mrs. Donna Ash and family, and the host and hostess. mas party last Sunday. The lighted Christmas tree and other decorations decorat-ions along with the sumptious dinner din-ner all bore witness that the holiday holi-day season was here. With the lighted tree and other decorations breathing the spirit of St "Nicholas, peace and goodwill mingled with fun and laughter prevailed at the Christmas dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Walker, Walk-er, where covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Thomas and son Sterling, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Stan-ley Walker of Provo; Mr. and, Mrs, S. R. Chipman and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wyant of Salt Lake; Stanley Stan-ley D. Kellerman of Berkeley, Calif the host and hostess and Miss Carole Car-ole Walker. j Lealand Clark is here from his studies at the Wasntch Academy at Mt. Pleasant to spend the Xmas holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Clark. Lealand registered register-ed at the Mt. Pleasant school while his parents were living in Idaho, and will continue his studies stud-ies there. He will return to school on January 6. Among the very enjoyable family fam-ily dinners on Xmas day was that of Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Swenson, where covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. George Gourley and family of Hallidav. Bishop and Mrs. Warnick Swenson and children and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Swenson and the host and hostess. "Mrs, Warnick Swenson entertained enter-tained a happy group of children Sunday afternoon in compliment to the birthday anniversary of her daughter Shirley. Games and refreshments re-freshments were enjoyed and pret-tygifts pret-tygifts were presented to Shirley. Present were Katherine Allen, Edith Ed-ith Anne Thayne, Virginia Jepp-1 son, Jane Iverson, Nancy and Anne Warnick, Delene Palmer and Ar-lene Ar-lene Harris. , . i I Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Hilton had I as dinner guests on Xmas the Misses Miss-es Evelyn Roland and Ruth Patten of Orem. Another happy hap-py feature of the day was a tele' phone call from Mr. and Mrs. Don Hilton of Los Angeles, wishing the family Merry Christmas. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Niels Fugal enjoyed a very happy Xmas party at the family home on Xmas.
