Show I American Fork Locals Mrs. Esther Willi.'im.s of Hill City, ItHilio, spent the past two weeks visiting with Mrs. Glen Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Curl Nelson and children of Park City, and Mrs. Mary Oruill of Ileber spent Sunday Sun-day visitiiiK at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nelson. Mrs. Ed Tuttle spent Tuesday and Wednesday In Salt Lake City visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Niel Murdoek, and her aunt, Mrs. Joseph Johnston. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Tomlinson of Layton visited over the weekend week-end with Mrs. Tomlinson's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Lynch. Mrs. Orin Ashton, Mrs. G. H. Gordon and Miss Donna Gordon spent Saturday in Murray with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gordon and family. Mrs. Lennis E. Abel and Mrs. Dean Webb attended a bridge luncheon in Salt Lake City on Monday given at the home of Mrs. J. R. McNair. Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Crookston were Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Moyle and children and Robert A. Hunter of Alpine and Miss Barbara Hunter of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Warren C. Boley, Mrs. William Brown Ingersoll and Mrs. Val Johner of Salt Lake City visited in town on Sunday. Mrs. Ingersoll expects to leave for her home in Washington, D. C. this week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Monson and family visited in Salt Lake City on Saturday with Mrs. Monson 's mother, Mrs. Mary A. Toone. Mrs. Glen B. Greenwood spent the week in Magna visiting with her sister, Mrs. Clarke Chipman and family. Mrs. Ida Lund and sons, S 2c Robert and Arthur, with Billie and Karren Cotterson, were Sun- day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Olsen of Lehi. Mrs. Olstn is Mrs Lund's daughter. Under the direction of Elijah Chipman and Dr. James Chad-wick Chad-wick a group from the Second ward attended the Salt Lake temple Friday morning for ordinance ordi-nance work. In the group were Mr. and Mrs. Chipman, Dr. and Mrs. Chadwick, Mr. and Mrs. Clare B. Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Edward T. Hall, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D. Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Devey, Mrs. Lila Nicholes and Mrs. Relva Booth Ross. j Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Jamison of Shelley, Idaho, were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. C. H.I Jensen. Miss Alice Carlisle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carlisle of Alpine, who has been working in the office of. Secretary of State E. E. Monson, is now employed at the office of the Quartermasters Quartermas-ters Corps in Salt Lake City. She will be at home at the Bee Hive House. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Marsh of Alpine visited Sunday in Salt Lake City with Mrs. Marsh's cousin, Mrs. Maud Hackett Skid-, more of Sugar City, Idaho, who is confined to a city hospital. The balance of the day was spent at the home of their daughter, Mrs. G. Douglas Gardner.. Gard-ner.. Mr. Will Garlick of Manti spent the past week visiting with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gastin Garlick. Also visiting with the Garlick's was Mrs. Maude Farnsworth of Provo, an aunt of Mrs. Garlick. Mrs. Frank M. Pulley entertained enter-tained last Thursday in honor of the 7th birthday of her son Richard T. Pulley. The children enjoyed outdood games and a lovely lunch highlighted by a I birthday cake was served to the following little guests; Wendell, Grew, Lynn and Morris Pulley, Fay and Boyd Spaulding, Margaret Mar-garet Stogglcs, Clark and Chris Chadwick, Harold Jeppson, Garcth Conder, Jean and Clea Thornton, Lynn Fraughton, Lo-rell Lo-rell and Leona Chatman and Jack Terry. |
