Show With The Service Men Jack Boren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Boren has been transferred from Camp Farragut, Idaho, to Wah Peten, North Dakota, where he will attend the University of Norht Dakota. His wife, Mrs. Sad-ella Sad-ella Dean Boren left this week to join her husband at his new station. stat-ion. Private Russell Walker, one of Pleasant Grove's latest inductees into the army, is confined to the hospital at Fort Douglas, receiving treatment for a knee injury. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Walker have returned to Farragut, Idaho, after enjoying a ten days leave, with their parents Bishop and Mrs. J. S. Walker and Mrs. Agnes Burns and other relatives. . . 'Sergeant Russell T. Green of the U. S. Army and Petty OTficer Nyle Green of the U. S. Navy, have returned re-turned to their stations after spending spen-ding a week here & attending the funeral of their father Herman Green. Sergeant Green is stationed station-ed at Fort Jackson South Carolina, Caro-lina, while Petty Officer Green is , train jnafc Lake Cjty, Florida Private Blaine and Private Calvin Cal-vin Frampton, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frampton, have returned return-ed to Camp Abbot, Oregon, after enjoying a furlough with their parents par-ents and other relatives and friends in this city. Private Ted Esklund who has for some time been stationed at the U. S. A. C. in Logan left Saturday for Santa Ana, California, where he will receive his preflight training train-ing in the army air corps, according to his mother, Mrs. Mary Esklund. Lieutenant Don Hilton has recently re-cently arrived safely in England, accoding to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Hilton. Hil-ton. Master Sergeant and Mrs. Virgil Cook and Sergeant Alvin Cook of Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and Mrs. Virgil Cook are here spending a short furlough with their parents Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Cook and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gillman. The Cook brothers left here two and one half years ago with the local unit of the Utah National Guard and have served in the same unit since that time FARRAGUT, IDAHO Several men from Pleasant Gorve, Utah, have begun their recruit training at this U. S. Naval Training Station, Stat-ion, -the largest in the west. For the next several weeks they will be busy learning military discipline, disci-pline, the fundamentals of seamanship seaman-ship and undergoing intensive physical phy-sical hardening. Upon graduatng from recruit training, they will ibe p-iven an on-nortunity on-nortunity to nualifv for enrollment in one of the many Naw Service Pchols for snecialied training, or will report immdiatelv for dutv with the TJ.
