Show Court Awards Damages For Child's '.Death Provo, Nov. 13. A jury in the Fourth district court, Tuesday returned return-ed a verdict of $2,000 damages to Mark Pulley of American' Fork, for the death of his son, Cyril Pulley. The defendants in the case were the Mutual Mut-ual Creamery company, the Alpine district board of education, and S. B. Hutchings of Spanish Fork. The boy was killed when a creanv ery truck, driven by Hutchings crashed crash-ed into him as he was alighting on the pavement from a school bus- The plaintiff alleged that the Vlriver of the bus was negligent for allowing the boy to alight and cross the highway when the truck was approaching. The creamery company was also held to be liable for the speeding of the truck which hit the boy. |
