Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mendenhall arid family went to Salt Lake City Sunday to view the large whale, which was on display there at that time. The whale, which is 55 feet long and weighs 66 ton, is one of the largest of its species ever caught on the Pacific coast. The Secony Ward Relief Society held a Silver Tea Tuesday afternoon in the tabernacle amusement hall, the proceeds of which will go to furnish drapery for rthe Relief Society room in their new chapel and recreation hall. There were over fifty ladies present. Following the regular exercises, ex-ercises, the following spleridid program pro-gram under the direction of Mrs. Joseph Nicholes was enjoyed: dlo-logue dlo-logue "Dolly Has The Flu," Master Ralph Binnal and Mary Lou Heiselt; reading "The Baby", Edna Fay Firm-age; Firm-age; vocal solo, Mrs. C. The children who furnished readings are dramatic art students of Mrs. Helen Heiselt.
