Show Queen Voting Causes Interest The selection, of a Gold and Green quern by the membership of the Mutual Improvement Association in eajh of the four wards has proved to be a popular attraction, some of j the wards reporting record attend- ances. ! Miss Sarah Earl is the young lady chosen by the Second ward M. I. A. which closed their contest last week. The voting, however, in each of the other three wards is still being carried forward, the Third and Fourth wards to end next Tuesday night and the First ward the Tuesday Tues-day following. The standing, to date in the First, Third and Fourth wards follows: First ward Fern Greenwood, Nona Cheever, Selma Seastrand and Lucile McAllister. Third ward Bonna Ashby, Vivian Viv-ian Lee, Grace Parker and Helen Devey. Fouirth ward Leola Robinson, Lois Greenwood and Vivian Jorgen-sen. Jorgen-sen. The Gold and Green Ball will be given on Tuesday, February 6th, in the Apollo Hall. Full details as to committees, etc. will bs given in our next issue. n |
