Show ! Timpanogos Relief Society Observe Annual Bay The Relief Societies of the Timpanogos Timp-anogos stake celebrated then- annual birthday Tuesday at the Second ward chapel with, stake President Eila M. Cragun in charge. ! The congregation sang "We Thank I Thee O God for a Prophet", led by Mrs. Mabel Swenson. The invocation invoca-tion was given by Jennie W. Johnson. John-son. A duet was rendered by the West Sisters. Short talk by Stake Sunrhine w-crker, Annie Hoiman, followed. fol-lowed. A one-act play "Through The Day" was rendered by the Windsor: ward with the following ladies tak-i ing part: Thora Crawford, Veadaj Whitley, Myrtle Prestwich, Mrs. Wil- i burg, Eva Johnson, TheLma Watkins, j Nellie York, Emily Aston, Neitaj Cragun, Eva Marrott, Thearo Haws,' Iona Jarman, Rose Shoell, Virgie j Rushton and Enid Johnson. . j A chorus was rendered by the I Second ward chorus under the di- . rection of Mabel Swenson. A one-act one-act burlesque play "Beautifying the City", was given by the Third ward ladies as follows: Lurena Johnson, Mrs. Curtis Johnson, Delilah Fugal, Mrs. Bastian Perlinda Radmall and Mrs. Nielson. Two piano selections by Minnie Iverson Hodapp from the Manila ward followed. A play "Organization of First Relief Re-lief Society", was given by the Lin-don Lin-don ward Relief Society with the following ladies taking part: Dahlia Walker, reader of the play; May K. Walker, Margaret West, Mary B. Fage, Luella Steiner, Luie Gillman, Kate Ash, Roxie Green, Lizzie B. 'Culmer, Doris Hooley, Luella Culli-more, Culli-more, Eva Thorne, Annie Anderson, Hilda Anderson, Annie Wright, Nettie Net-tie Meecham, Delia Gillman, Annie Gillman and Eva Gillman. A short talk on the organization of the Relief Society was given by Stake Counselor Kate Jacobs. Stake President W. W. Warnick spoke and short closing remarks were made by Stake President Ella M. Cragun. The benediction was rendered by Mrs. Bernice Monson. Refreshments were served to more than 300 guests. f i I |
