Plans Progress For President's Birthday Ball Plans are rapidly going forward for the big birthday ball which will be given in honor of the birthday anniversary of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, to-morrow night (Saturday) (Sat-urday) in the Apollo hall. Our city-is city-is joining with all cities in the nation na-tion in observing this event. A large local committee is in charge of the affair and plan to make this dance one of the most outstanding of the year. The funds received are to be used in the crusade against Infantile Paralysis Pa-ralysis and devoted to the fight against the scourge which physically physi-cally handicaps every year thousands of American children. The ticket sale is well under way and it is the desire of those in charge that when citizens are contacted con-tacted they will keep in mind the cause and aid as much as possible to make American Fork's birthday ball the most popular dance in the state.
