Mr. and Mrs. Walter Strange and Mr. and Mrs. Alan Shelley attended an American Legion banquet and dance given at the Elks Club at Provo, Pro-vo, Tuesday evening. Mrs. Clyde Thornton entertained at a bridge luncheon Wednesday afternoon. High score was won by Mrs. Nell Binns and Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Peterson. The Stake board of the various organizations or-ganizations met conjointly Monday evening in the Tithing office where their regular monthly meeting was held. A general meeting was held, after which the various boards separated and the month's business problems discussed and instructions given. This conjoint meeting is a new inovabion, and does away with the home meetings of the various boards. after which delicious refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Mr. and Mrs. Strange are members of the club. Mrs. Helen Heiselt was a guest at a luncheon given in the Emerson ward, Salt Lake City, Monday, by the Primary workers of that stake. Mrs. Heiselt gave several readings on the program. There were approximately two hundred present. She again furnished dramatic entertainment en-tertainment at a luncheon Wednesday afternoon given by the Delta Epsilon Sorority in honor of 1 heir mothers. This entertainment was given at the Lawrence Heiselt home in Salt I-flke City. ; Today (Saturday) Mrs. Heiselt will read the one-act play "The Maker of Dreams" before the ladies of the Brigham Young university at the j Little Theatre, Provo. j i The Sororsis club ladies and their partners were entertained at their an-ual an-ual birftnday party Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. C.
