Show Provo-P. G. Basketball Play A Real Game Good Coniradship Enjoyed by Audience. School officials and patrons alike were delighted with the basketball game played Friday, February 15, between be-tween the Provo high school and the P. G. H. S. at the High School Gym. The Gym was packed to capacity long before time for the game. The Provo High School Band and a large crowd of cheering students and basketball fans from Provo occupied the north west corner of the building, while the local High School Band and students occupied the north east corner. Splendid music was played by both bands alternately, and a fine spirit of conquest was in evidence on, all sides. During the period between the halves of the game both banda marched ;into the center of the floor and several numbers were played by the combined bands, each director, alternately in charge. The game was a bitter contest from beginning to end. At any time until within three minutes of the close of the game either team could have been winners. At the close of the first quarter, Provo led 6 to 4, but at the half Pleasant Grove led 17 to 13, and continued a small lead thereafter until un-til within three minutes of the close of the game a tie of 25 to 25 was recorded. The spectators almosL held the'ir breaths until the final score, 28-27 28-27 for Pleasant Grove. Robinson, center of Provo, and Christiansen, forward, of the winners, led their teams' attacks.
