Show A. W. Buckwalter Dies Following Stroke The entire community w' . giev-ed giev-ed Wednesday to learn of the death of A. W. Buckwalter, 63, who passed away at the family residence that afternoon shortly after 4 o'clock Mr. Buckwalter suffered a stroke the previous Friday, September 6. This is the second stroke he has had, the first one, four years ago, which left him ailing' in health up to his fatal relapse. He was born January 16, 1866, in this city, the son of Edwin and Susan Morris Buckwalter. Most of his life was spent here, farming being his main occupation. On June 9, 1897 he was united in marriage to Martha Boley, from which union they were blessed with two children, both of whom survive- Mr. Buckwalter has labored as an L. D. S. missionary in the Southern States, and at the time of his death was a High Priest. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Martha Buckwalter; his mother, Mrs-Susan Mrs-Susan Buckwalter who is 85 years of age; his children, Mrs. Edith B. Matthews of .Twin Falls, Idaho; Miss LuRae Buckwalter of this city; and the following brothers and sisters: sis-ters: J -E. Buckwalter of American Fork, Mrs. Nellie Taylor of Lehi, Mrs. Frank Turner of Spanish Fork, and Mrs. Bertha Knox of Salt Lake City. Two grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Sun, day afternoon, September 15, at 2 p-m. p-m. in ithe Alpine Stake Tabernacle. n |
