His record shows, , he had many miles of Utah County roads put into the state road system, relieving the taxpayer of their maintenance. He was in- ; ', strumental in having the Utah State Training School located at American Fork and has fought for its establishment and appropna- tion for its upkeep, and pledges to continue to see that the state institutions in Utah county are properly financed. Education will always have a friend in the Senate as long as Mr Booth is there. He voted for the $25.00 state school fund for every school child in the State, wherever he or she lives. He is . opposed to lowering the standards of our schools and cutting short the school year. Mr Booth is one of Utah County largest taxpayers, he owns business property, farm land and a large poultry farm, he knows : the burdens of property tax. He stands for economy in government govern-ment and realizes that the time has come when our tax system must be changed and the largest part of our tax revenue should come from other sources than tangible property.
