Show o Funeral Services Held for Young Mother Funeral services were held Sunday Sun-day at 2 o'clock p. m- in the Wind-' Wind-' sor ward chapel with Bishop Stan-B. Stan-B. Harris presiding and counselor Blwood Baxter conducting the services. ser-vices. The choir, with Evan Wal-berg Wal-berg conducting and Bessie Lowe at ! the organ, sang "Sometime We'll Un-! Un-! derstand-" The invocation was ' given by Edmund Cragun. The choir : then sang "I Have Read of a Beau-! Beau-! tiful City." Bishop Edward Abel of the Amer- jican Fork First ward was the first speaker, he was followed by a duet by Mrs- LaDocia Wagstaf f and son of American Fork, "When the Sun Goes Down," accompanied by Miss j Alice Parker- The next two speak-I speak-I ers were Bishop David B. Thorne of the X.indon ward and J. W. Gillman Gill-man of the "Windsor ward- Eldon Richardson of American Fork sang "Lay My Head Beneath The Rose," accompanied by his sis-, sis-, ter, Cleo Richardson. Bishop Stanley' Stan-ley' B- Harris' spoke of Mrs- Wag-staff's Wag-staff's labors in the Windsor ward. Closing remarks by presiding officer offi-cer Elwood Baxter. The choir then sang "Shall We Meet Beyond the River." ' I The benediction was pronounced by ward clerk Wilfred J- Stark. The ! flowers were taken care of by Florence Flor-ence Baxter, Thora Hales, Bernice Lowder, LaRue Gillman, Areva 'smith, Vola Johnson and Inez i Walker, Mrs. Ester York and Mrs-Florence Mrs-Florence Downs, all early associates 'of the deceased- The pall-bearers were Gilbert Shtimway, Kenneth Searle. James Wag-staff, Will R-Shelley, R-Shelley, Eslie Bennett and Lewis Robinson, all close friends of the deceased's de-ceased's husband. Interment was made In American Fork cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by Bishop John Stratton of the Grand View ward. |
