Show o FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR WM. ROBERTS Funeral services were held at ' 1 o'clock p. m. Sunday in the Wind-1 sor ward chapel over the remains! of William Roberts, who died follow-an follow-an operation for appendicitis, counselor coun-selor Elwood Baxter conducting the services. The choir sang "Tho Deepening Deep-ening Trials Throng Your Way." The invocation was offered by stake counselor Edmund Cragun. A solo, "I Have Read of a Beautiful City" was sang by Leon Gordon, with chorus by the ward choir. The speakers were Clifford E. Young, President of the Alpine stake; Bishop Edward Abel of American Amer-ican Fork Third ward; and James W. Gillman, and closing remarks by Bishop Stanley B. Harris. Other musical numbers rendered were a quartet "Oh Dry Those Tears," by the American Fork Third ward; solo, "Face To Face" by Ray Shelley of American Fork and the closing song, "Sometime We'll Understand" Un-derstand" by the Windsor ward choir. The benediction was ' pronounced pro-nounced by A. H. Lowe. Interment was in the American Fork; cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Jesse M. Walker of American Fork. The pall bearers were former associates as-sociates of the deceased. The many beautiful flowers were taken care of by the girl friends of Mrs. Roberts. Rob-erts. . n |
